We just released an update that makes it easier to read K-Meter’s numeric peak levels. The peak-hold value is now displayed, rather than the instantaneous peak value, which changes constantly. Clicking the numeric peak-hold value resets the peak-hold, causing it to fall. You can use the hold toggle to switch between a 10 second hold and an infinite hold duration.
It’s a small tweak, but hopefully it will make your K-Metering a little bit more enjoyable. As usual, grab the latest release from the download page.
Enjoy!
We’ve just released a new version of K-Meter (v1.4.2) that fixes a bug that prevents activation on some Mac OS X systems. The new version is available on our download page.

Today we released an update that fixes some issues with folder permissions and the installer. License files are now saved in a user directory (e.g. /Users/john/Library/Application Support/Audio Pluggers or /Documents and Settings/Sarah/Application Data/Audio Pluggers) rather than a system directory. This works better on Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) and Windows Vista/7. We also fixed keyboard input in certain DAWs. Grab the update from our download page:

If you encounter any issues/bugs, please fire off an e-mail to support@audiopluggers.com so that we can get them fixed. Remember to include specifics of your setup: operating system, DAW, etc.

We’ve just released a new version of K-Meter with some goodies. We focused on improving the LKFS/LUFS metering by adding a full-scale option and making the ITU Fast and ITU Slow modes compatible with EBU R128′s momentary and short-term loudness measurements. Be sure to check out the manual for more details. There are some other minor changes and bug fixes. Of note, the Mac OS X K-Meter VST is now a universal binary. As usual, grab the new version from our download page.
We welcome your feedback! Let us know what you like, don’t like, and what you’d like to see. Send us an e-mail or post on our Facebook wall.

We hope that you have all enjoyed using K-Meter, and look forward to working with you all in the coming years! We’re currently hard at work on infrastructure, updates, and new product ideas. Stay tuned!

Today we’re excited to announce that K-Meter can now be run in demo mode! The demo is fully featured and runs for 10 minutes at a time. This will give interested artists a chance to try it out before deciding whether or not to buy. Our 2x money back guarantee already provided peace of mind, but we feel that a demo takes it to another level. You can grab the latest build (which includes the demo mode) from our download page. Enjoy!
